R.A Sweeney writes, not as an expert teacher, but as a tour guide of the Scriptures. The world is filled with “experts” who will tell you what to believe and what doctrines the Bible teaches. But God is not a sterile force of nature. He is a Person to be loved and interacted with. The Bible is not a textbook of rules or principles. It is the story of our Beloved. Sweeney writes to equip you to explore God through His words. He walks you through the Scriptures, demonstrating the ways in which it is interconnected throughout itself so that you can understand the text more clearly.

After coming to know Jesus in his mid-twenties, Sweeney became a Hebrew scholar. He has taught the Scriptures and led Bible studies for nearly ten years.

Sweeney has lived in Wyoming nearly his entire life. He enjoys exploring the glory of God’s masterpiece in the Wyoming outdoors. His love for nature and outdoor activities often spills into his works.
